I can get behind this as I have a good idea where its going.
Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

I could only stomach the first half. Bad acting, uninteresting and unrealistic plot. I quit watching after I realized I was hoping the whole world would just end including the silly destroyer.

I watched it all, but really nothing was that exciting....something I'll likely watch but in no way is it must see tv.

fwiw  the first season of TNG has been on BBC lately.  man..... those first 5 or 6 episodes are rough to get through.
even Breaking Bad didnt really get going until season 2.5.

so far a better episode.  I really think they needed a 2 hour premier for this.

What I find funny is if the ship is the last hope of the world, I would think the captain would be important to keep alive....not sure sending him out in the landing party is a wise decision:)

Same with the female scientist/doctor.....sure one soldier was wounded and needed help, but do you send the only person who could save the world to fix him up?   I think it would be acceptable loses of losing one person versus billions:)

I know it is just a tv series, but those little things drive me nuts:)

The more I think about it the dumber this show seems. In the first episode while they were operating under EMCON, why couldn't they at least receive news and information? If the world was going to hell in a hand basket, you know there would have been a shit ton of chatter and EMCON doesn't stop you from listening to stuff. Also, if they were under some sort of ultra-restrictive EMCON rules, why the hell were they conducting target practice with missiles? How do you do that and maintain EMCON? Dumb.

And "Stay frosty"? That was the most painful line I've ever seen Adam Baldwin utter.

Only to be topped a few minutes later by the captain's "Revenge is a dish best served cold". 

Seriously, I'm waiting for the Transformers crossover episode. Maybe they can add Megan Fox to the crew.
