I have never heard of this Marvel franchise but I am very excited!   It's been too long since we had some good ol' fashioned sci-fi pulp adventure:

Although Thor was sort of an introduction to that level of play; in fact one of the end-credit scenes for Thor 2 (just released on BR/DVD today) was set as a crossover with this movie, and actually directed by its director!

MovieBob at The Escapist does a good job playing freeze-frame trivia on the trailer, to give audiences an idea just how far down the otter hole the film is going to go.

Good catch! It certainly seems like there is enough depth there for a really engaging sci-fi romp!  Still looking forward to this movie.  :)

Considering the box office performance of Edge of Tomorrow vs Transformers, real Sci-Fi may be dead. Cinematically at least.
