Hurricane Arthur to hit the Atlantic coast Sat

The Weather network is forcasting Hurricane Arthur to hit the maritimes with winds that may cut power. You guys over there may want to get generators if you don't already have one. I got mine at Canadian Tire. Champion 5500W - very reliable.

Just switched to CNN, they have it making landfall in North Carolina tonight.

NOAA has it skipping the NE US. Most of you guys will be ok.

My parents near the middle of the state shouldn't be getting besides a bit of rain and some mild wind. I wonder how much of this Brant will see. Hopefully not much.

We'll get rained on some tonight, but most of the fireworks shows are planning to go on. East of I-95 is going to eat the worst of it. West of I-85 might not even get wet.

just saw the radar. Landfall was slightly south of here and tracking away from us. We might not even get wet today after all. Current radar has it up closer to VaBeach

Be careful anyway you guys along the Carolina Coast and up in the Maritimes. Even during a ho-hum storm somebody almost always seems to get hurt.

We had thunderstorms yesterday evening that were really strong and knocked out my power for just a split second. It's cloudy and cool here today, Arthur is basically giving me some time to game :)
