I'll be continuing to play Sovereignty, and probably some Distant Worlds: Universe as well.  Been feeling an itch to get back into that one the last couple days.

Well unlike the rest of you pansies I'll be playing Dota 2. :)

Actually, since it's finally been ported to Linux I may also play some AI War: Fleet Command.

Got 'Blood Bowl Chaos Edition' at a nice price, so be messing with that. Start with an Amazon team first I think.

And some Skyrim.

I really want to play my Xenonauts campaign but I have to work nights this weekend.

Really enjoying the game a lot despite the fact that it doesn't really alter the story progression told in the original X-COM.  Even though there aren't really any surprises when new types of aliens show up, I still get a nostalgic kick out of it.  First time a reaper showed up, I remember thinking "Oh shit, I remember those things!  Gotta keep them out of melee range and away from civvies or things will get ugly fast."

I had to restart the game as I faffed about too much during my first campaign attempt.  Things seem to be going fairly well so far.  My first base in Bulgaria is doing well.  Troops are all well experienced now and have good stats.  Just got some wolf armour and the first lasers are coming out of the workshop.  My 2nd base in Nebraska isn't fairing as well.  I'm broke so it doesn't have any radar coverage and the troops there are very green.  They've died like flies on the few missions I've sent them out on.

A Star Trek Mod. The developers have been quite helpful with answering questions. I've just started working on the ship sprites but with all of the existing 3D models out there it's fairly easy so far.

So far, just Morrowind this weekend.  I'm not sure what else, if anything, I'm going to get to.

They do make a very good starting team: they all start out equal except for the specialty players who only have bonuses (like pass and catch or blitz) already and no defects, plus EVERYONE starts with dodge.

So they have a super-important defensive ability built-in; they have no special weaknesses; and any player can technically become as good at any position as any other player; but you can get some players with extra good abilities to start and no weaknesses.

Honestly, they may be kind of broken.  Or perfectly designed. :smitten:

Elite sporadically so far - 'real life' seems to have interrupted this weekend

although just as i was switching off at midnight last night steam notified me someone had started NTW, and i thought - ooo, i have a battle to fight in that, 4 battles later and 02:30am and im the proud owner of Friesland - game looks great at full details with darth mode
