In all honesty I still have to actually pick up my kevlar helmet from the px...I didn't even know I was supposed to have one until a few weeks ago.

...and of course the huge story at the top of CNN is about a kid that got shot by a cop. The only reason they're making a big deal out of it is because he's black.

Funny how the news makes such a big deal out of such things, or crucifies people for using the (gasp) N-word...when they themselves are no better behind the scenes.

God, I HATE CNN. I can't click a news 'story' without getting a damn commercial shoved in my face. (So why go to it, you may ask? To see what they're not covering more than what they are.)

In fairness to CNN they will do *anything* to avoid running a story making Obama look bad. The lost Malaysian airliner story? They were doing wall-to-wall coverage of it 45 days later. Their coverage of it was spectacular - if you'd been living under a rock for the last month and only had interest in what happened to the airplane.

BTW, last night in St. Louis was calm - almost jubilant. But that's good news for another thread.
