Yes. Canada was 8 million people at the time. 600,000 Canadians signed up to serve in France (soldiers, nurses etc.) About 65,000 died in the war.

I've never been to Europe other than the UK. A Great Uncle of mine died at the Battle of the Bulge, he was ~26. I would like to see where he died, one day, if I can.

When this story forst broke, I just rolled my eyes and kept driving. I have little faith remaining in those people who's intelligence falls below the median (all 49.9999999% of the population).
