Yup, had a total war night myself....

Took the bottom 2 Roman cities and Sicily to unite that 4 city province.... Etruscan league and the nervii carved up Naples and Rome itself and they're allied, Rome is left out on Corsica I'm going to have to go to war with a pretty big power block to get Rome or I turn back east and take pontus

Prison Architect is rather good, by the way.  I've enjoyed my time with the alpha immensely so far.  Lots of lovely details, amusing surprises, nice touches.  It's definitely an Introversion game too - they aren't afraid of being a bit dark where it suits them; the tutorial has you build an execution chamber for a prisoner on death row.

And now I face the old dilemma...do I keep playing while I'm enjoying it so much and risk burning out before the release, or do I shelve it for now which will take extreme willpower?

In other news, i finally won my first game of Strife last night, playing as Blazer.  I think I have most of the mechanics down now, and I'm getting used to the huge differences between it and Dota 2.  I really need to get familiar with the shop though, because right now I just buy the recommended items which only confer stat bonuses.

Our league has only just gotten underway but we could quickly get two more coaches in if anybody was interested.
