Forgiv my technological ignorance, but how are you watching it mirth? The wife and I want to watch the show together but she has a commitment on Tuesday nights and I'm technologically challenged.

We use a PVR, personal video recorder, that is provided, for rent, by our cable provider.
Much better than old VCR's in that you can just choose a show to record and it will record it whenever they bounce the show around to.
We pretty much never watch TV "live" anymore.

Good start, and tonight's ep carried it on.

I mean, occasionally I still griped about stupid writing -- the writers go far out of the way to set up a rogue attempt at shooting a character who must absolutely not be given the slightest reason to think he's going to be shot, and then for literally no good reason the sniper runs out of his hidden nest down to the street shoving aside people and a hot dog vendor to snipe the guy from a hundred feet away: just far enough away to make the shot worthless against someone who now knows something is wrong.

That was excessively retarded. Not least because the sniper explicitly knew he shouldn't let the target feel threatened, and already had a perfectly good down-angle shot.

But otherwise still a strong improvement from most of Season 1.


Look, can I spoil who the guest comics villain for eps 1 and 2 are? Because that guy does a great job, and the writers imported him into the Marvel Cinematic Universe very well.

Also... is Lawless already gone from the show??  That doesn't seem likely, but if not they're doing a good job faking me out on it -- all the hints that might normally suggest she's coming back seem missing...  ???

It looks her character is well and truly dead after only one episode (as much as any character can be in the Marvel Universe). And yeah that sucks.
