"Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more; "

Methinks he may suffer from a fatal dose of lead poisoning.
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

A report on state television said on Thursday that Mr Kim, 31, was in an "uncomfortable physical condition" but gave no details.

Perhaps the generals have him staked-out on a bed of nails and fire ants until this movie hits the theatres:

and then, suddenly it will be announced that he has died of grief for the people of North Korea.
Any time is a good time for pie.

^ Holy crap. I hadn't heard of this movie and thought that was some silly photoshop joke. The trailer looks full of win:

As big as that jackass's ego is, this HAS to be a problem for him. Hahahahaha!

Staggerwing

Supposedly Kimmy-kins was flipped-out furious when he heard about the film and may have even threatened to fire off some missiles unless it gets pulled from theaters.

I guess he didn't see the Red Dawn re-re-make and see that Hollywood could give two craps about him...LOL.

South Korea just signed a $7 billion deal for 40 F-35s plus supporting infrastructure.   O0
Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

Mystery solved. He gained so much weight that his ankles fractured.

It's reassuring to know he's being so well nourished while his nation starves.

QuoteAccording to the Daily Mail, Kim Jong-Un has been in the hospital for a little while now battling health problems. Namely, he's a fatty who ballooned to 280 pounds.

Being fat isn't the only thing that is hampering the dictator. Well, sort of. He's so fat he had to have ankle surgery after fracturing both his ankles.

But don't worry. A North Korean film said he was OK and really working to not eat all of the starving people's food.

Questions whether the un cola is still in power.

Quote"The fact that the No. 2 and No. 3 people in the North Korean system traveled out of North Korea at the same time, after the No. 1 Kim Jong Un has been out of the public eye for weeks, and his wife as well, is very unusual," Green added. "It's unprecedented."

It's enough to lead some to wonder whether something of a coup has taken place.

"Has North Korea's Kim Jong Un been toppled?" analyst Gordon G. Chang wrote this week in the Daily Beast. "Of course, in the world's most opaque regime, almost any scenario is plausible. We should know a lot more, however, when we see who is on the reviewing stand during the October 10 celebration of the founding of the Workers' Party.

"Until then, we can say there are signs that Kim Jong Un has lost substantial power and will soon become, if he is not already, a figurehead," Chang wrote.

Citing sources, the Daily Beast also reported last week that North Korea imposed a ban on new travel passes for entering or leaving the country.

Also, gunboats are shooting at each other today, but that may be kind of normal. ;)

According to the article, one theory is that Kim himself sent #2 and #3 to South Korea (where they definitely went) for the diplomatic mission to open doors to a real economic reconciliation -- a meeting that did happen and did have reasonably positive results, though nothing definite.

South Korea has the infrastructure and North Korea has the manpower. They'd be an economic powerhouse that could rival Japan.

Not for the first decade or so.  Just ask West Germany.  ::)

The south has no interest in German Reintegration: The Sequel.

Ain't gonna happen. The south may help if things go well, but I wouldn't hold my breath for a German-like merger any time soon.

Good points. I did think at the back of my mind it would take longer than the German reunification...
