Although the World At War series is one step up in scale (and Modern.. YAY!).

That's a new game engine I would wager. More interested in checking out the AI and how mod friendly it is. Also not sure if this is an offshoot of the Sun-Tzu system. O0

I'm almost certainly going to be in the minority here, but I'm not thrilled at all with what I see. Hopefully this is a very early build. The effects and graphics look very "meh" to me.

Maybe it'll grow on me.

It is a new game engine. I don't know how moddable it will be.

I don't think so (the devs aren't the same), though the boardgame version will have support on ZunTzu.

OK, a disclaimer: these days I'm helping mod the LnL forums, so technically I have a formal affiliation with them, and as such you may wish to discount my opinion.

That said, I watched a five minute demo of a short scenario. It was functional, but I didn't get any personal hands-on with it.

Having said that, the PC game had a je ne sais quoi about it that pretty much electrified everyone in the room. I'm eager to take a closer look at it.

My 15yr old said "that makes it look really stupid" (in reference to all the glitter and glam). FWIW.
