What we really do is heckle each other and derail threads with comments about boobies.

Didn't think that some people coming to this forum were that sensible (being a forum for mostly wargames, shooters and such). I have seen no nudity and don't see any questionable moral problem here (maybe some bad taste but that's different). Imho, the title of the thread should have been different.

I would have more problems to see someone killed or the promotion of weapons...would the people who complained be shocked by that? Don't think so but i might be wrong.

The question is also...where's the limit? Does it mean that no women pictures or gifs are allowed...at all? Was my Salma Hayek also of "questionable moral character"?

The title of the thread was a joke. It was meant to be tongue in cheek. It's really not a big deal. There is no reason to over analyze this. Complaints were made, we reviewed them as a team and a decision was made. Just move on. Are the gifs THAT important to you?  The focus on some of the complaints was that the gifs were NSFW and there were some concerns that female coworkers could be offended if they observed some of the gifs. As a result, some people were choosing not to come to our forum.

You forget that outside the forums, grogheads is a professional website that attracts game publishers, developers, writers, academics, etc. we want to have a clean, mature look...for the most part. Doesn't mean we can't have fun. Anyway, I'm not sure I see the connection between wargaming and sexy gifs, other than the fact that a sexy gif is the closest some wargamers will ever get to a beautiful woman.

Complaints were made, we reviewed them as a team and a decision was made. Just move on. Are the gifs THAT important to you?

Nothing indeed...but this is the case of most avatars in the forum, they're just there for fun or individualisation of the profile. Case closed for me  ;)
