That trailer was on the Agents of Shield TV show last pm. I thought I saw the hammer-wiggle scene wrong until you all saw the same thing. Nice touch. Can't wait.

Oh I get it now. They had to do the second trailer because the first one leaked before they could use it as a SHIELD promo. Explains why it's basically the party scene tacked on to the beginning of the first trailer.

Cap probably faked it to be nice.

Canonically, he's one of the people who can wield the hammer. Wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't pick it up toward the end of Av2 to help out a bit and then throw it over to Thor.

A detail of the trailer I've only seen one person mention so far is Andy Serkis (of all people) dressed and bearded to look like (the originally human version of) Klaw. It's a good thing Black Panther has now been cast (for a five picture deal no less) because a ton of details are pointing to Wakanda on the way.

That list of the Marvel slate upthread (not the graphic, though it isn't far off) is genuine, by the way. Feige announced it earlier this week.

Notably, still no Hulk movie, but Feige may have slipped a bit when he said the Hulk was an important part of their movies especially the Avengers. That would seem to imply they're considering having him guest star elsewhere; and we've wondered for a while if Guardians 2 would involve a Planet Hulk variant allowing them to connect back to the Infinity War plot. (James Gunn, the director, has officially shot that rumor down, but he was also laying curious connections to an eventual Hulk plot in Guardians 1, most notably one of the Hulk's lovers... crap, the bird woman whose name I forget, she makes movies and was wearing Starlord's shirt early in the film and may have originally been meant to be a spy or agent -- there are production photos showing Gunn on set directing her in combat gear.)

Feige also (in an interview for iFilm) may have spoiled a bit of Av2 plot by saying that while Stark is funding Shield, Cap is running it. That wouldn't be official (Feige also says there's no more Shield, but that's not really true, they're just more superspyish about what they're doing), but it would make a logical setup for a Civil-Warish sort of storyline as Shield redeems themselves and reintegrates into the government.

Oddly, the press releases and interviews have not yet confirmed that CumberBen has signed for Doctor Strange; there may be legal issues still being worked out.
