Wait until you complete the mission that lets you enter a whole new realm to explore and kill things in. The abilities get...interesting.  ;D

I guess I should try to progress into the story more then.  I'm about 3 hours in but I've only done 2 of the story missions.  I'm too busy running around collecting stuff and offing captains.  I don't mean to.  They just keep showing up and fighting me when I'm busy trying to find runes or step on spiders.

If you tell me this is a literal *thing*, I'm getting this game for sure.

Yup.  I found out by accident.  There are always spiders and rats skittering around.  I assumed they were just background filler.  Then I ended up stepping on a spider while trying to sneak up on an Orc and it triggered a side mission.

^Right - the side mission for the spiders that I have is to kill three...actually haven't done it yet...

^I did the challenge mission of killing those little spiders, but didn't know you could kill them by stepping on them :P

So it tracks your friends as well?  I just got a Vendetta mission telling me I could avenge the death of Gusington by killing Larz (the dude from Metallica?).  Sorry to hear you got killed by a drummer Gus.

I tried avenging W8 awhile back and got my ass handed to me.

If I'm going to get killed in a game, I'd prefer it be Lars. FWIW I didn't know it tracked us either. Kinda cool, kinda 1984.

Awesome!  So you saw one of my many shameful deaths and was able to attempt vengeance?  How sweet is this game!  I just started playing the game again last night after finishing the single player campaign in COD: Advanced Warfare.  I need to try to find a vendetta mission as well.  If you can do this on the PS4 version I'm sure you can do it on the Steam version as well.  This is a great game.   O0
