X-Rebirth - what have they done

The game is juddering like you wouldn't believe on my system when moving about...input for ship direction is terribly sluggish.

It's like I'm having a fit!

The game wasn't like this last time I played :(

Thank god I have Elite:Dangerous! ^-^

Fired it up for a look see...I'm waiting on Elite's last wipe or the official release - whichever is first.

yeah, although theyve said if something critical needs changing betwixt gamma and release, there may be a wipe for release

There's deffo a wipe at gamma, they have not denied one at release

If your still playing, be sure to "pre-order" (just click to play) the Teladi DLC otherwise it seems you'll have to pay for it. :\

Back to X-Rebirth......what is its current state of play? It's on my Steam wishlist waiting for an awesome holiday sale. I suspect my old rig can't handle Elite's graphics but may be ok with X-rebirth. But is it worth the sale cost (whatever it is) and time?

Frankly I had a similar issue and on the x- rebirth fan. Went to check up on all the new improvements and maybe do some trading in my ship decided it wanted to yaw to the right constantly. Every time I touch the joystick my craft with yaw to the right and start spinning so I went back to elite.. screw it

I've had that nuttiness happen with a couple games when the controls were set to use Mouse & Keyboard, but I also had a joystick plugged in at the same time.
