+1  . . . Two Hour Wargames has some good stuff.

I didn't hear about this.  Are they merging or something?  There are one or two games form THW that I've been interested in trying.
"As I understand from your communication, Mr. Engle, you're on the brink of self-destruction. May I shake your hand? A brilliant idea! I speak as one who has destroyed himself a score of times.  I am, Mr. Engle, a veteran corpse. We are all corpses here! This rendezvous is one of the musical graveyards of the town. Caters to zombies hopping around with dead hearts and price tags for souls." - Angels Over Broadway

LnLP is just going to publish THW board games. Not really a merger.

Yeah Ed at Two Hour Wargames is still continuing as usual but LnL are going to create boardgames from some of his products. They are going to be using the same rules but be self contained with counters and maps and things from the sound of it. First up is the gladiator and chariot games combined into one package.

Interesting!  I hope they get around to 5150 Star Army.  I am looking forward to giving it a try one day.   8)

I wanted to wait until David posted his announcement before speaking up.

Yes, there are many games coming from THW and I'm looking forward to it. Having a chance to spend time with David and the new LnL folks convinced me to give it a go. Knowing that I have final approval on my games was the deciding factor. So if there's a production hiccup, like David said, it's on him. But any game design hiccups, totally on me. After producing over 50 games, I'm pretty comfortable with supporting them.

For those of you that don't know Two Hour Wargames, we cover a variety of periods and topics. It was pointed out to me  that Two Hour Wargames does a lot more than traditional wargames, so we've decided to release all LnL/THW collaborations under THW Game Design.

All of the games for LnL will be either totally new games or games that will be updated. Heroes of the Colosseum is much more than Red Sand Blue Sky and Charioteer re-packaged. Just like the upcoming ATZ - Outbreak, the games are streamlined using current/new mechanics and not just a rehash of current offerings.

In any case, glad to get this started and if you have questions or requests for games let me know. All of the games are on the table.

FYI - All the THW/LnL games will work perfectly well with minis or counters.

Hey Ed,

Thanks for stopping by and giving us further info. Looking forward to seeing what comes of the partnership.

Mad Russian

Since this is a Flying Pig Games thread I'm really interested in seeing where Mark is going. What he left behind is a LnLP topic of another color.

Good Hunting.

Dang, good observation. I'll move to the other thread so any questions can be posted there instead of here.
