The zombie game Dead State finally releases on Steam today!  I bought it and will try it later tonight. I've been playing 7 Days to Die recently and having a blast.

I've been keeping an eye on this one as well.  I was going to pull the trigger but then I saw GOG had Wasteland 2 on sale so I bought that instead.  Please post impressions.

I bought into Early Access a few months back, and liked the little bit I played of it back then.  It seems like a good blend of State of Decay and Fallout (1 & 2). I'll be checking out the finished version later this evening.

Played through the tutorial section last night. Must say I like what I see.

I had fun with this last night. The game play feels a bit slow to me but it's not a bad thing. Initially I thought it was a bit too much 'on rails' and I could only go to places pointed out to me on the map. I discovered you can explore anywhere on the map you wanted to! I also love the rpg elements. I can see there will be moral choices to make eventually about what to do.

I was a kickstarter backer and the game is on my computer....but I've been so into 7 Days to Die that I haven't been able to break away to play Dead State yet. I almost feel like I'm cheating on the developers I backed   ::)

I hope so, because dialogue choices are meaningless.  I realize this isn't Bioware, and is largely a one person project, but why bother giving the player a choice of responses if the NPC is always going to say the same thing anyway?

That's my only real complaint about the game.
