Tragic accident in Glasgow

So last year on the 29th November, Glasgow, my home city, was the site of a tragic accident where a Police helicopter fell out the sky over Glasgow and onto the roof of a pub called The Clutha Bar killing 10 people.

This year, 2 days ago, a refuse collection truck went out of control in Queen St, driving up the road, mounting the pavement, past George Sq (one of the busiest places in Glasgow - particularly at Christmas) and crashed into a hotel wall. 6 people are killed and 8 or more injured.

Tragic accident and although it would always be tragic - particularly at this time of year because forever it will spoil peoples happiest time of the year.

My thoughts and prayers are with those injured - hoping they recover fully and quickly - and with those families who lost family members.
