Can anyone tell me (where's Elvis? Has he left the building?) - if I upgrade Combat Mission Battle for Normandy to v3.11, am I able to continue my Market Garden campaign?

I know that when Jim and I upgraded in the middle of a PBEM game we were able to continue it. I haven't actually tested a campaign, but I would think you'd be fine.

Savegames are compatible if you save in the orders phase.
If you save in the resolution phase they will become corrupt.

Looks like your ticket came across at 2am my time. It was bound to be "a while". :)

One thing that you can do, that isn't recommended, is to have 2 installations of the game on your computer. That way if it doesn't work you still have 2.x available to finish the campaign.

Also, if you buy 3.0 today the download that you get will be the full game installer. So it will install everything (all patches, modules and Upgrades) making it even easier to make it an additional installation. Just remember to follow the activation steps correctly. Here's the short version again so that you have it handy:

Launch the game and activate with your 3.0 key
Close the game
Double click desktop shortcut labeled Activate Modules and enter your Commonwealth key
Double click desktop shortcut labeled Activate Modules and enter your Market Garden key

Yeah - it was rather fast given I posted the question on Sunday night. Kudos where it's due.

I noticed it was the full installer at 10GB!!!! :o

I think I'll just take the hit and install. Do I install over my existing installation or do I have to uninstall? (I'm guessing I can install over)

Yup. It will overwrite your current installation.

And Sundays aren't usually an issue. Heck, I was responding on Christmas.

Ah, the joy of support. As someone who repeatedly had gaming and other activities interrupted by responding to support requests, I salute you!

Fortunately for me, our support burden decreases over the holidays, while I'm sure yours goes way, way up.

It doesn't look like I'm going to be able to install it anytime soon. It seems to be stuck at 55%

Elvis (if you're still about)

The download keeps stalling on me. It stopped at 55%. I restarted (hoping it started where it finished but it didn't) and now it's just sitting at 11%

Any ideas pal? Is it going to be just this slow? Should I leave it and start the download tonight (GMT 23:00)? Am I able to stop it and start it a third time?

Try a different browser. I have the best results with Chrome (it's the only thing that I use Chrome for) but others swear by Firefox

Is there a limit to the number of times I can retry downloading?

I'm using Chrome at the moment (I was using IE 11)

No limit on the amount of times you can download.

Except for 1 guy a couple of months ago, IE seems to be the worst.
