He was my favorite character. They're all pretty great, but Opie really had that tragic hero thing going on. And I guess that explains exactly why his character had that fate.

I'm afraid it's just going to get worse from this point forward, but I can't look away. Not now.

I wouldn't go near the kitchen sink for 2 weeks after seeing the Season-Ender for 6. Of course I rarely went near it before either.

Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

Ba-dum-tisshhh...

Just saw the first episode of Season 7...gotta say I have really been digging the music in the last few seasons. I need to see if they're selling an SOA soundtrack or not. The ballad-like rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody" at the end of that episode was pretty awesome and chilling considering what it was framing.

I'm psyched for you that you got to see it in such a short period of time.  It makes the story flow faster, but, points out some of the flaws, too.  As much as it sucked having to wait a week at a time and then nothing for nine months, I think you lose a little of the delicious pain of anticipation.

The only thing that's getting me is the quick flow in Season 7 to go from everyone wanting a more legit MC to one that's killing everything that blinks at them wrong. Totally a 180 for some characters, like Bobby. I get that the reasoning is Tara's murder, but damn you'd think someone would be a voice of reason in all this insanity.

That's the big part of Gemma killing Tara. Tara was a voice of reason for Jax. Her murder totally unhinges Jax, who was trying to be a voice of reason for the whole club. Gemma, in acting out of panic and self-interest dooms Jax and the club. I look at the final season as really Gemma's story. Through her own actions she birings to pass those her greatest fears.

The entire thing feels like a carefully-constructed house of cards that's just falling down in a pile of bloodshed and body parts!  O0
