Brilliant idea. Let's take it a step further and sue Italy for the Roman imperial transgressions! They took lots of silver, gold and slaves from us Brits so that's got to be worth something. We could even do a class action with the whole of the former Roman empire - who'd have thought Germany would get payback from Italy with the current eurozone crisis. Take gold bullion not Euros though... ;) :D

At the very least. Yorkshire was only part of the Danelaw - you could easily add East Anglia and the East Midlands! ;D
