Any of you Americans want to grab CKII for me and I'll re-pay you through Steam or Amazon gift cards?

How would that work?

Would you just need the serial or key to D/L it from Steam? That's the only way I see it working as Amazon doesn't let you D/L in Canada either.

EDIT: SDR, I just checked the key-only method by registering a copy of Ship Simulator Extreme I haven't gotten around to installing and I didn't need the disk at all. After registering the key it started to D/L the game from the Steam servers. If the Amazon version comes with a similar key then it might work for you as well. No way to know for sure unless someone else has tried it with Amazon already so it might be a gamble.

It should just give you a Steam Activation key for them.  Like when you purchase a Steam-only game on GamersGate, or anywhere else.  Should work just fine if you mail him the code and don't use it.

I would happily make such a purchase for you, SDR, but unfortunately I gotta "I'm Broke" freeze on spending until sometime next month.  Due in court for a traffic ticket soon, too.  Doah!  :-[ 

I'd hate to see you not have CK2 anytime soon.  :-\  It would be an tragedy.  ;)

As long as there is no legal downside I'll give it a shot. I don't know how many times I can purchase the same game though. Might have to get several 'Mericans to take part. Also, for the same reasons as Nefaro, I may have to wait until Friday to undertake this little border-bending venture.

Since it's Amazon, and they're mostly just Steam activation codes, there probably isn't a problem buying multiple sets. 

I'd be a bit concerned about that if it were something you had to download from Amazon directly, though.  Dunno how that would work - do they have a 'Gift' option on their own DD service too?
