Somedays I really wonder if these clowns will be able to protect themselves - A lot of Canadian, US, British and other allied soldiers have been killed in trying to help create a democracy in a land where there doesn't seem to be any desire for democracy... I guess I'm jaded....  >:(

Sgt. Doiron died doing his job.  He knew the risks when he volunteered for the infantry.  He knew the increased risks when he competed and trained to join the Special Operations Regiment.  He was part of a rare breed of human being, cream of the crop.  As sad, frustrating and tragic as his death is, it is also noble and honourable.











It is dangerous for these operators to go into 3rd world, war-torn shitholes.  They are not there to bring democracy.  They are there to carry-out the will of our government.  In this case to make the Peshmerga better fighters against a more vile force of evil.  I hope that they succeed and no more foreign advisors will lose their lives trying to help them.

Its an unfortunate accident, but this happens in warzones.

just on top of my head from Afghanistan.
Danish soldiers has been killed by British soldiers.
British soldiers was gunned Down by US plane (or was it a chopper ?).
etc etc.
