Seems like Putin's Russia is having this effect.

"Since Russia began invading and trying to annex parts of Ukraine in 2014 there has been a substantial shift in population. Since early 2014 nearly two million people have left Russia.
More than half these were Westerners (including many from East European countries) working in Russia, providing skills that Russia did not have. The rest were Russians, most of them highly educated and with similar skills to the departing Westerners. What all these migrants had in common was a desire to get away from an increasingly authoritarian, intolerant and economically disastrous Russian government. "

Respect goes out to these guys. If Russia tries to breach Poland, these guys will be in the shit until the big stick starts dropping hell on Russia's conventional forces.

Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

They get their military stuff from us.

It seems the economic troubles in Russia may be starting to tell in their military modernization programs:

Deep cuts reported in orders for their PAK FA stealth fighter, and possibly for their new Armata tank that's supposed to be officially revealed in May.

Russian anti air back in Ukraine - to fight who exactly? The pause was long enough to release some tensions, now it seems they are back to work. It seems like a controlled bleeding of Ukraine's finances. Meanwhile the west does the same to them in retaliation. I still think they will take half the country at least, maybe the whole coast to recombine trans Dniester to the motherland. Why leave a coast that can be a landing point?

There will be a full scale shooting war starting in May. UK might be busy with after-election nonsense. Obama will be busy playing golf. The French and the Germans will be busy finding "a political solution".
