I saw some people discussing Unity of Command in other threads and thought you might be interested on sale today for $15 at Gamersgate.  I still haven't picked up yet, but tempting today.  With my blue coins and 15% discount, it would only cost me around $7.

I played the demo a bit and seems Ok.  The unit counters really didn't distract me at all.  What I liked about it was the fast pace and fairly easy UI.  Not sure I could go wrong for $7, so likely willpurchase by end of day.  If I only get a few days of enjoyment out of it, still pretty good deal.

Over at the matrix forums, several NATO counter mods.  So looks like you can play without the heads:)
