Flight plans, mostly, but it also stores manuals and other documents that they used to have to stash in the cockpit. The article states it saves about 35 pounds of weight, but I think it's more like 100. (I did weight & balance/fuel calcs for United Airlines flights a while ago.) There was a lot of stuff they had to have on hand in case they needed a quick reference.

It's a little unsettling to think of an airline pilot having to pop open a manual in the middle of a flight.
