I read last night that Darth's next project is Ultimate General: Antietam. There's more info over at Rock Paper Shotgun...uncertain whether Antietam will be DLC or a standalone release yet. Also discussion of other eras and conflicts for future releases with the same engine. Good stuff.

I think the Antietam game will be stand alone.  It's an upgrade of the graphics engine.  More 3d aspects to the map, but still the same theme.

About This Game
Engage in epic Real Time Strategy warfare across the Atlantic, Pacific and Mediterranean, this is naval warfare on a global scale.

It is World War II and the age of the dreadnoughts has passed and naval warfare is being dominated by Aircraft Carriers. Submarines hunt convoys like wolves and the numerous and nimble destroyers rule the oceans.

Destroy enemy battleships, torpedo enemy convoys and hunt the enemy wherever you may find them.

Advance through the naval ranks from a Captain of a Destroyer to an Admiral of a vast fleet. Win medals for your exploits, and help your chosen nation achieve victory in each campaign.

^Just bought it, you bastard.

Probably get Ultimate General next. But for ~20.00 for both I can't really complain.

Just gotta finish pre-loading the new Wolfenstein and then the AoWIII Eternal lords expansion.

I've been good. I WILL be good. I won't buy anything. NO. I will not. NOnononononono

Only thing really sorely tempting me is Ultimate General. I'd totally go for the Star Wars sale on Steam right now but I don't have a joystick (thank goodness).

Gusington

^I can lend you one. Welcome to CRAZYGAMINGTOWN.

Bought Ultimate General too. Hard to resist for 7-fiddy and 1500+ really good reviews.

Gamersgate has Daedalic's games on sale for the next day or two.

For those who are into this kind of thing (and I am) there a Dark Eye universe bundle on sale for $15.

You get four really good games:

Chains of Satinav, Memoria, Blackguards, and Blackguards 2.

Chains and Memoria are a two-part adventure game that needs to be turned into a movie.  Probably the best adventure game I have ever played: adult (mostly), charming, and poignant.

The two Blackguards games are Daedalic's take on the Dark Eye RPG system (aka Das Schwarze Auge) a German role-playing game somewhat like D&D.  TDE/DSA differs from D&D in the German sensibility (that can be good and bad at times, but is always refreshing) and the incredible depth of its backstory.
Every generation gets the Greeks and Romans it deserves.

Steam has the new Icewind Dale:EE on sale at 50% off....$9.99.  I have fond memories of the original, actually finished it, but wonder if an EE edition is worth the time and money?

New Bundlestars bundle:

http://www.bundlestars.com/all-bundles/killer-bundle-3/

Hope nobody here paid the silly early access cost for Planetary Annihilation.

Merchants of Kaidan looks like a fun little trading game.

Planetary Annihilation

S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat

Of Orcs And Men

It came from space, and ate our brains

Super Motherload

Merchants of Kaidan

The Original Strife: Veteran Edition

Letter Quest: Grimm's Journey

Survivalist

Spark Rising

Huw the Poo

I got Planetary Annihilation in a previous bundle and still haven't been able to play it.  There's some bug in the middleware they use to provide the UI which crashes the game.  Very reproducible.  If I'd paid the early access price I'd be royally pissed off (as opposed to the normal amount of pissed off I currently feel).
