The first season was excellent. The second season after it got the reprieve was horrific.

We think it was a booby trap. It happened about 50 meters behind my vehicle around the corner of a store. If he had been wearing a helmet he would have been much better off. Of course if hadn't been walking around it would have never happened. There are tons of UXOs all over the place, some of them embedded in the road.

It was interesting because the DPR fired a mortar round earlier in the day, then when we treating the journalist they decide to have a "mad minute".

I was reporting to the patrol leader, and was the one who called for the medic.

The mil guy was one of the DPR soldiers. I'm in the video whenever we start moving the casualty. We had two elements that day. I was with the vehicles and provided C2 when it got "loud" and I was the one who called for the medic. The dismounted element was further in the village visiting with the locals who were still there. I was more worried about the dismounted element since it seemed like they were in the line of fire.

We are with OSCE.

As far as nukes, the Russians/Soviets don't have the best record themselves. Hell they didn't even need some imperialistic enemy at Chernobyl...they messed that up real good on their own!

And Jersey Shore is a spinoff of The Toonces Show, btw.

Just looked up Shirokyne. Shit man stay safe, as I just discovered that you are in one of the hotspots. I was also interested to note that you aren't all that far from Yalta. You're not that far from Russia either (as if you didn't know either fact, I'm just stating the obvious for any less informed readers- like I was 10 minutes ago).

Here's a pic of myself and one of my colleagues negotiating with the Azov battalion. I was the patrol leader that day. We helped the Ukrainians recover one of their Georgian comrades who was killed the previous night. The Ukrainians were firing to keep the DPR from getting his body. I went with Azov and my boss came in from the other side with the DPR. The body was recovered but we had to use ropes in order to keep from getting blown up. The body was booby trapped.
