Here's a pic of myself and one of my colleagues negotiating with the Azov battalion.  I was the patrol leader that day.  We helped the Ukrainians recover one of their Georgian comrades who was killed the previous night.  The Ukrainians were firing to keep the DPR from getting his body.  I went with Azov and my boss came in from the other side with the DPR.  The body was recovered but we had to use ropes in order to keep from getting blown up.  The body was booby trapped.

I should have commented on this earlier.

I've actually led a few patrols to the RBCP or Russian Border CheckPoint.  I even traded some patches with the DPR border guards.

I've seen that in some of the analysis.  I can also see why they are scrapping over Shirokyne.  Mariupol is definitely one of the keys to a land bridge.  The DPR do not have enough combat power to take it by themselves, you would need some serious units to do so.  Mariupol is one city the UAF will not give up without a fight.

Reports of morale problems in the Russian Military. There are now several confirmed reports of desertion because of Ukraine.

Yeah. 

Russia says they're just "volunteers".  More like "volunteered". 

Reportedly ordered to (temporarily?) resign from the Russian military and join the rest of the Russian military fighting in Ukraine.  As if having hordes of enlisted soldiers resigning from the military is both common and accepted. 

Sometimes I wonder why the Russkies even bother spinning stuff like that.  As mentioned before.. obviously meant more for internal nationalist consumption because those are the only ones who buy the nonsense.   ;D
