Pursuant to my observation above that the MCU does occasionally confirm, off in the corners, that the Incredible Hulk movie events happened (e.g. the Hulk fighting in Harlem as a newspaper article on the wall of a frequently visited locale in the Daredevil TV series), comes the announcement yesterday that William Hurt will be reprising his role of General Thunderbolt Ross, in the upcoming Cap 3 movie.

The currently updated official plot synopsis (courtesy of ComicsAlliance) sounds a lot like this is really Avengers 3!

Quote'Captain America: Civil War' picks up where 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.

Currently, the only member of the new Avengers not confirmed to appear is War Machine (and Nick Fury, if he counts).

I saw something very briefly on the morning news today...it was part of their little distracting ticker at the bottom...said something about Ant-Man being in the upcoming Captain America movie.  :buck2:

Just watched Thor 2 again and it's not at all clear what happened to the Ether at the end of the film. But I'll volunteer to search Natalie Portman just to be sure.

When I was a teen, I followed the Thanos Quest, The Infinity Gauntlet, and the Infinity War series, then I just stopped.  When Infinity Crusade came around, I realized this was getting ridiculous (kinda going the way Secret Wars I & II went).  I had just about stopped with Marvel titles when Professor X's kid went nuts and changed history by accidentally killing him instead of Magneto, and the Age of Apocalypse & then Onslaught came around (this part was sort of cool, seeing a one handed Wolverine ride the back of a Sentinel across the Atlantic was a hoot), but then even that reality came undone, and things sort of came back to normal again.  What a gyp!

This was the mid to late 90s, when comics and their value was super over inflated, and some of the lead artists had some ridiculous cred going on (anyone remember how hyped Liefield used to be?).

Good thing Dark Horse was around with their alternative entertainment (Aliens, Predator, Robocop titles were  pretty interesting).

Comics by DC and Marvel (most especially DC) keep going up in price despite all the new advances making production cost cheaper, and not to mention the digital format that
definitely doesn't warrant the same price or more as a physical copy.

They give it to the Collector in a scene during the credits. Sif and one other of Thor's pals deliver it to him and when they leave he says something like "One down, 5 to go".
