Saw this one last pm with the wife in tow and I liked it, she hated it. No real plot that makes any sort of sense to anyone older than 6 maybe, but Damn, the action is non-stop and very well done. Hate the new Maxx, love the 500 bad guys he kills at 100 mph. This one should've been named, "Vehicle-Maggedon".
"Take a look at that". Sgt. Wilkerson-- CMBN. His last words after spotting a German tank on the other side of a hedgerow.

I've actually been hearing almost nothing but praise for this one so far.  Do you have to have seen the original(s) to enjoy it?

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

If you're not sure you may have seen it back in the eighties- the second Mad Max movie was released under the title 'the Road Warrior' in the US. That might seem obvious to many but , hey, you never know.

I saw chunks of the originals when I was a kid (my parents were watching them at home on VHS), but I'm afraid I wasn't enthralled.  I've never cared for apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic films as a rule; movies like ID4 and (oddly enough) The Postman are the exceptions for me.
