Combat Commander:Europe - VASSAL

Hey

Is anyone up for teaching/playing through some scenarios on Combat Commander:Europe?

I'm in the UK

I'd potentially be up for this at some point but I don't own or know the game so maybe blind leading the blind.

Are you thinking a live game with skype or something? I'm UK too so might be able to fit it in a little easier.

I think it would be the blind leading the blind at the moment.

Perhaps once I learn the rules, I'll give you a nudge? I'm going through the tutorial at the moment then I plan on doing an AAR - so perhaps you will be able to read that for some indication into the game.

Meanwhile, you can find the rulebook here and perhaps download the Vassal module (free) and give the tutorial a go? That way we could both hit the ground at least walking  :))

I've got the Vassal mod installed, but not yet played the game. I'm waiting for a pal of mine, who is very much into the CC games, to teach me it.

I do have the rules as well so I'll try and find time to give 'em a read.

Yeah feel free to bug me if/when you feel like you have a handle on it. I've been meaning to get it for a while so I might have a nose through the rulebook.

I've a few other tactical games so I don't imagine it will be that hard to get to grips with.
