I was at it about 6 years ago.  A university friend of mine lives in the village.  Its a crazy crazy dangerous scene.  I can try and dig up a photo of the safet officer wearing a burned rugby jersey, a glassy drunken stare, burn patches on his hair and clutching a lit cigarette as he handles barrels filled with flammable tar.  He was the one responsible for keeping it safe.  Needless to say it was utter mayhem

Here is the nutter safety officer.  He had safety first written on his back.  Presumably so they could identify him from his charred remains.



And some other phots from the festivities.  Alcohol, surging crowds and flamming tar barrels = oh how we laughed in the ambulance!
