The final song was a killer and was written by Sutter. Fits the episode perfectly. This stanza tore my heart out, because it is who Jax became.

I just finished watching last night as well. All I could think was how little Able was playing with that 'son' ring and what Gemma had said, that Thomas had a chance but  there was too much of Jax in Able.

AFA the homeless woman. Could she have been Brooke's dead mother playing the role of psychopomp, waiting around to facilitate what Jax had to do, before being able to move on to her own next plane? Don't forget she was also in Belfast in season 3 and only Jax, Gemma, and Brooke seemed to notice her around (iirc).
