Yes.  That's really how it should be done.  :smitten:

Yes, very cool. Although a fan of the 'Decisive Campaign' games, I never bought Advanced Tactics Gold...even when tempted to do so during the holiday sales. Can't give a good reason why not.

Although it's the predecessor to the DC games and doesn't have all their polish, it does have research and production if that's your thing.

The most shocking fact about war is that its victims and its instruments are individual human beings, and that these individual beings are condemned by the monstrous conventions of politics to murder or be murdered in quarrels not their own. Aldous Huxley

It's kind of silly to investigate whether or not a Clinton is lying. That's sort of like investigating why the sky is blue. Banzai_Cat

This game is amazing. Having to actually support your armored or infantry  columns with dedicated supply and staff support adds a whole new level of complexity to this game.

At to this the combined arms nature of the TOE's, and you have a game unlike any other game I have ever seen. This game is a must-buy for grognards. You can even edit the units, to adjust their cost and capabilities. Want Chinese infantry? Lower the cost, and decrease the quality. Infinitely moddable.

Dumb question...title of this thread talks about a public beta....is the new game available somewhere right now to the public?  Or is it private testing?

Thank you, so basically a patch to the original game...I was thinking it was a stand alone.  Will have to monitor this and maybe jump in at some point.

Not a patch, a full-blown re-interation...DLC if you will. Free. Very stoked about this, and the notion of designing a modern cohort.
