I was sick of them when I was just a kid, constantly seeing airline hijackings and bombings on the news.  That was three decades ago.

I have no sympathy even for those apathetic towards their beliefs & activities, much less those paying lip service.  This war against Islamic terrorism has been ongoing since before I was born - the longest in US history by far.  It was never fully declared as such and our leadership has done it's best to portray it as anything but.  It's been a war nonetheless.

Latest is its one Oregon national Guard member and and one US Air Force service member and their friend.  Sounds like the Guardsman is a combat vet.

Also a UK citizen was involved in the end.  Bravo to all of them for corageous action in that sitaution regardelss of where they come from or if they were in the service etc.

Now lets cue up all the jokes of how the Marines always get the credit! ;D
