Not in any specific order. Metal Gear Solid V took me back last night when I died and the Checkpoint was pretty much all the way back at the beginning. Over 2 hours (I think) of recce, sneaking around, grabbing stuff down the pan...and all because it wouldn't allow me to climb a ledge - and the only way was doooooown! 

But I'll give the mission another go tonight.

For the record - I hate that Checkpoint save crap. I'll determine where I want to save and when. To make that choice for me is ludicrous AND a false way of making your game balanced/a challenge (delete as appropriate)

Really can't compare....ActionPC Hockey is a great season replay simulation of hockey (not career based)...focus is much more on coaching the actual games, not building a franchise.  Eastside is roughly the opposite, its focus is on career building and much less focus on coaching the actual game.  Personally I enjoy the season replay games and career based games so I play them both.  If you have the slightest interest in season replay, then I would recommend it.  It doesn't have any fancy graphics and such, but serviceable for what it is.  For what it is worth, I play APC more than I do Eastside.

No gaming for me this weekend. Heading up to Lake George for the 3-day. May take the kids to see Fort Ticonderoga. It's one of the better historical parks I've been to.

Doing some more Pool of Radiance and Hapsburg Eclipse for the AARs I'm doing in the forums.

Will dive into Thunderbolt/Apache Leader (the newer version) from DVG, and might set up the old one too to jog my memory as to how it plays. Will be doing an article on the former title soon.

Have some new GrogCasts to edit for our Season 2 opener, so that's a thing I'll be doing too.

After that, no idea. Depends on how much BS the wife has me doing around the house. Three-day weekend usually equates to a game of "how many chores can I make him cram in that time"...

  It's a big weekend.  May be doing some heavy boardgaming in the new basement domain of incipient masculinity.  So that would be Wing Leader, and maybe Fontenoy and maybe early Macedonian battles against the Phocians, Mercenaries and Athenians.
