It was fun for me, and I don't really like RTS. The story in the SP campaign for both is really good.

It was a very good game at the time it was released, and basically the only thing doing cold war gone hot out there. Now that we have the wargame franchise, I would never go back to it.

I was wondering. I certainly did see the similarity to Wargame.

WIC is much more of a traditional RTS whereas Wargame is closer, at least it feels closer, to a quasi- authentic Cold War era toy sandbox. The OOBs in Wargame are second to none, I like the added elements of logistics, supply, cover and concealment, etc. As the Bison said above, WIC has a really good campaign story line, which is something the Wargame series certainly lacks...it's even narrated by Alec Baldwin, I believe. Again, I recommend the game be experienced, but just keep in mind what it is and what it is not.

Also, don't be expecting it to be a 'true' RTS game. There is no base building, there isn't a lot of unit construction or anything like that. It's more a tactical game of using the forces you're given effectively and calling in assets (airdrop reinforcements, bombing runs, and so on).

Yeah. I picked it up and I like it so far. I mean for $10 it's sort of a no-brainer. There look to be some good mods as well.

I don't LIKE traditional RTS games that much so I am good. I appreciate everyone's input. Who needs reviews when you got Grogs?! O0

I tried the demo and thought it was pretty decent, but not quite enough to convince me to buy the game. I consider it a lighter version of the Wargame series as others have implied.
