w1815.

Seriously in love with this game at the moment.

In its small size, extremely short playtime (<15 minutes per game), and simplicity of components, it's rather like a Napoleonic "Love Letter".

Hoping it holds up because I'm already 1/2 dozen plays in and have no immediate intention of letting the boy off the hook from playing anytime soon...

You didn't know? My Corps has already sailed to Berlin. We got there 3 days ago and we've been in the Tiergarten on the piss ever since. -- Marshal Soult, October 1806

I sort of screwed up the photo, but that's because I was so excited. Today is my birthday and my loving wife indulged me and my hobby:

I suspect she knows this will keep me out of her hair for months.

Thanks Bob! I would say "now I'll never leave the man cave" but I already never leave the man cave.

Thanks Gary! She also bought me the book Persian Fire about the wars between Greece and Persia. After 26 years of marriage, it looks like she knows me pretty well at this point. I think when I made her visit the Patton Museum at Ft. Knox when we were first married and asked her to stand next to the XM-1 for a picture, she figured out what she was in for.

After waiting for the scheduled reprint, I Just got my copy in the mail last week. It's really a brilliant wargame on several levels.
