Watching the meltdown that another flight simulator appears to be going through, I find myself looking forward to this more than ever.

I really hope this scratches a flight sim itch I've had a while.  The idea behind the operational layer is simply awesome.  I'm really trying to manage my expectations, but I can't help but feel a squee building up inside.

Its just taking a heck of a long time to get DCSW v2 out of the door. Literally years of later than told at first.
That has made quite a few people members of the 'I'll believe when I see' cult.

The preliminary update to v2 is due to come out this month in beta 1.5 form.
Again, they 'expect' a Sept release for the public beta. Which year is to be seen. :D

What's that stand for? I haven't been following closely but heard about some issues with advanced flight models and I know DCS 2 has been horribly delayed.

Oh crap....just saw this enters early access on June 6th, for $29.99.......fully dynamic campaign has me very much interested, even though I struggle at these games....I have a feeling this will be on my hard drive come the 6th, competing with HOI4 :(
