yeah now I cant play the damn game.

For some reason I cant click on any of the menu's because it seems the actual pointer is somewhere else then the graphical pointer is (hope that makes any sense), so when I have to point at some random place to open a specific menu

Yes, I understand.

When I've had this happen with other games in the past, it was usually some display resolution or gfx driver issue.  Have you tried changing the game resolution or any other gfx options like Full Screen settings or Vsync?  There's a chance changing such things may send it in the right direction, if you can actually click on them with such an offset cursor.

Also try ALT+TAB out and back in.  If that doesn't work, then do an ALT+ENTER to make sure it is displaying in full screen.  I've had to do those in some indie games when the full screen display is offset from my actual screen, and it fixed the problem.

Cool, after some fiddling I managed to deactivate Vsync and that helped. many thanks
