If anyone from the UK is thinking of buying this, it's a little bit cheaper from the Matrix/Slitherine store than from Steam (and a bit cheaper still if you select to pay in $ rather than £). Worked out a couple of quid cheaper for me. You can use the Matrix/Slitherine key to register the game on Steam.

Slitherine store shows 18.99€  and at Steam its 18.47€

i just did an impulsive buy over at Steam  :-[ >:D O:-) ;)

i guess it will be a fun little game 8)

Barthheart

It is a fun little game. Light but with some good play. And battles are fast to play. In the 15-20 minute range so far.

The digital version doesn't have the card play?!  :'(

That surprised me as well.  Apparently it's "coming soon", and hopefully not as paid DLC.  They're also planning the Cthulhu expansion.

Nefaro

Wellllll shit beans.

My willpower is buckling like a belt, already, despite the missing card play.  I wonder how "soon" that bit will get added?  It's a dimension that I already sorely miss and I don't even own this yet.

Oddly enough, playing the digital version might light a fire under my ass for finally breaking out the tabletop game.  Whodathunkit?  Conspiracy!  To get me to buy more tabletop expansions, of course.

Tamas over at Slitherine just confirmed that the cards will be free and once installed, optional. He didn't say how long it will be before they are available, but I imagine they still have to teach the AI how to use them.

Thanks tgb.

I was just gonna go dig around and see if there was anything solid regarding the cards.  If they're adding it in an update, then they just got my money.  :)

Toonces

The trailer video looks pretty fantastic.

Silent Disapproval Robot

Anyone else getting issues with the mouse cursor intermittently flipping out and just randomly flickering and snapping back to the centre of the screen?  I've been getting this and have to ALT-TAB out and then back in to recover the mouse.

Yip, .. I had the same problem ..  ???

Only have my CH Pro pedals connected at the moment (actually forgot they were connected), .. and once I disabled them (via the CH Software), .. my crazy mouse problems seems to have disappeared.

Check for any other input devices that might be causing a conflict with the mouse and HoN.  :)

Great game ..  O0

Looks brilliant, and they're working on the Cthulhu expansion too (Shadows over Normandie).

They've had the SoN board game for a while now, so it's just another adaptation.

Im flabbergasted at the cheap price, I would definitely paid double(that's the truth) because I wan Matrix to profit and make more games. I know they have to keep prices real because steam buyers would not but at a high price because there not hard core wargamers, the matrix serial DRM is what gives the game a different value in my humble opinion, so matrix and slith put your prices up.

Oh I would not pay double for crapy games, but this one is a winner.

Don't blame me guys, they put the price up, its still cheap but they are saying its a launch price until oct 8th so grab it now its so much fun

Something Ive noticed is, you don't need the keyboard(so far anyway) , just mouse! so sit on your armchair with mouse on the arms. very easy and relaxing way to game.

Grim.Reaper

Be interested in some detailed impressions...at first had no interest but seems like it could be some fun.  Never played the board game so really no reference point.  For $19 seems like it might be worth the risk.
