well, i am not so sure about the cards so.
The developers said TBD, which can be interpreted as 'to be done' or 'to be discussed' ... and the later can also result in a 'Negatory' (fiddling the more strategic card playing AI that plans a turn ahead or two into the existing AI is not an easy task, i guess)

The very fact it has card play missing at the moment, is a reason to buy, because after the update you will have 2 versions with and without cardplay.

cardplay May make it not so flowing, but after its updated you will have no choice but to have cardplay

I'm pleased with my purchase absent card play -- certainly with the cost remembered -- but would not pretend that the game isn't diminished without it.

The game was designed with the cards in mind and is improved with them. I certainly hope they can be added.

My sense is that the devs are paying attention to the feedback -- they've unlocked the larger maps (which was the right decision) -- and many vets of the game are clamoring for the cards to be added, and I'd be surprised if they weren't added sooner rather than later.

Having played for a few days but never having played the boardgame, I can see why cards would make the game more interesting. Right now outcomes are a little too dependent on roll-of-the-dice chance, although I think the game is still very playable in its current state.

Played a few games last night on bigger boards and enjoyed it A LOT more. Yay for some maneuver options! Now I'm greedily hoping for options for bigger maps, more units and perhaps variable army purchase point levels. :D

Really looking forward to the cards as well. It adds something when you don't know what your opponent has in his hand. Maybe you can form a mass attack...but maybe he has an artillery or air support card. Maybe you can rush that position...unless he has an opportunity fire card. The cards are really the fog of war in this game system.

The latest patch killed the game for me. I now get the re-centering mouse bug 100% of the time and it doesn't correct even if I unplug my other input devices.

If your on windows 10, I may have a fix for you

step1 right-click the start button and select RUN

step2 type in msconfig and press Enter

step3 go to the services tab and check the bottom box "hide all Microsoft services"

step4 unselect all the remaining services

step5 exit and reboot

step 6 run msconfig again

step7 "hide all Microsoft again"

step8 enable all your services again

step9 exit and reboot

this procedure mends all sorts of things on win10

SDR, did you change the default resolution? The game screen on my 1280x1024 is clipped on the edges (can't see the whole screen). When I changed the resolution to fit the image, my mouse function went erratic, would not move right and would click on the screen. This also messed up my monitors refresh rate and other games set for native resolution changed screen resolution automatically. I had to rest my monitor parameters to clear it. There is something odd with how all that is not working nice. It's off my machine right now. I'll give it some time to get some fixes for these issues.
