From the clips the game looks incredibly frenetic...I don't know if I can handle it.

Already pre-ordered and tried the beta for a couple of minutes.

Couldn't really figure out how to choose and/or deploy my forces as there is no tutorial :P

My only hesitation is that World of Conflict was so good that I worry this won't live up to it. I so want this to be a hit. Yet I wonder.

can you access the skirmish mode in the beta, which gives an AI to the 1:1-MP-maps... it should be
under 'solo' in the menue?

I think last time I checked it was greyed out.

So far I've been able to play alone, with no opponents at all. Free to roam the map with the units until I choose to "surrender" . :D
