Just my luck. This happens too late for me to pick-up women with medals I didn't earn.  :(  On the other hand, just cause some judge says it's OK doesn't mean you won't get your ass whipped by a Vet for doing it.  8)

I think that if you end up 'profiting' from it - someone buys you a drink thinking you're a veteran - that you can still be prosecuted under fraud laws.

Personally, I'm gratified that there are so many people out there that think playing dress up as a member of my profession will get them esteem/laid/free drinks/whatever  :).

Seriously, a few nut jobs out there wearing awards they didn't earn in no way dilutes the value of the award.
