Oh damn...really? I haven't been getting my normal fill of news, this is the first I've heard of Frey passing. Damn.  RIP bro, thanks for all the great music.

I might catch shit for it, but I wasn't ever much of an Eagles fan. Glenn Frey's solo career, OTOH, I enjoyed greatly. I thought the Eagles were way, way overplayed on the radio and got so sick of some of their songs...especially Hotel California.

Still, they did have a few good songs. I just didn't really notice until Frey took off on his own.
