As the title, he gets to play with a dev alongside to explain various things.

On the surface, you'd be forgiven for thinking it's made by the same developer as MGSV ;D

I was rather excited about this game a year ago (or so) when I first heard about it.

And I'm very curious to see how it's received. It's out soon - on my birthday I believe

My observations of the video was - all the "baddies" look the same. There's very little (if any) variation. And I really don't like the 300 rounds per death.

And the other thing was...Angry Joe SUCKS at shooting games!

I hear you, loud and clear...as a gamer I also have learned my lesson by now. Not buying any hardware or software when it shows up, waiting for the perfect deal, better hardware for the same price as the first gen stuff, for a complete game and also for the complete package (basic game + DLCs for the same price as the original game or even less). That's why we waited to buy a PS4 until a few months ago. :)

I really want this to be good. My gaming near future is set aside for XCom 2, but I'm keeping an eye on this.

Open beta starts feb 19th to the 21st to anyone who has a uplay client, you can even preload it now. I'm definately not buying this for 60bucks, but the lets play videos look compelling enough to give the open beta a whirl.

I cant get into this game, the damage numbers that flies out like that is so unappealing. A tom clancy game should not resemble borderlands

I wonder if you can turn them off ? I guess I'll find out in the beta.
