Nice Mirth! ;D

It got me thinking ...

If bread is the staff of life, what is the life of the staff?

One long loaf! ;)
The most shocking fact about war is that its victims and its instruments are individual human beings, and that these individual beings are condemned by the monstrous conventions of politics to murder or be murdered in quarrels not their own. Aldous Huxley

Foul Temptress! (Mirth replying to Gus) ;)

It's kind of silly to investigate whether or not a Clinton is lying. That's sort of like investigating why the sky is blue. Banzai_Cat

First Martok posts pics of naked spiders in order to stop an virulent outbreak of puns.

Then he laughs at a pun.

You guys would have been proud last night. The melodrama I'm in opened last night and in one scene, one of the actors comes in in a ridiculous cowboy getup, a vest and chaps that are patterned like a black and white cow. The cow puns flew everywhere.

Him: "I guess I better moooooove this way."
Me: "These puns are udderly ridiculous. It would behoof you to stop."
Him: "Are you saying we should put it out to pasture?"
Me: "I've herd enough. You're really butchering your lines. It's a missteak."

And on and on. The crowd was rowdy and loved it. MD would have thrown a beer bottle at some point, I'm sure.  ;D

When I worked 3rd shift in the ER back in 82 I would come home at 7AM and watch Bob Ross paint his happy trees. Then I'd read a chapter or two of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance before going to bed. Somehow, that combo kept me from losing my shit until I was able to get onto 2nd shift.
