Anyone use this program?  How user friendly is the program?

Just looking for something to do some simple image manipulation to import images into Fantasy Grounds without having to outlay the money for Photoshop.

I used it for a while to remove the fisheye lens distortion I was getting from the camera on my drone.  I found it to be a frustrating experience and went back to Photoshop.  (which I've also stopped using as my licence expired)

I've used it in the past for work. I wouldn't call it "intuitive",  but I found it simpler to use than Photoshop (fewer things to click and fiddle with).  The documentation is pretty good - http://docs.gimp.org/2.8/en/

What do you mean by "simple image manipulation"? You may not need anything as complex as Photoshop or GIMP.

Well I need to do more research, but basically many D&D and Pathfinder PDF modules you can copy the map and remove the layers so that encounter markers are not imported with the map image to FG.  And eventually look at using images of some minis to make tokens for use in FG.

I haven't personally used Pixlr, but I suspect it will be more user friendly than GIMP and will likely give you all the features you'll need.

I know Bayonet_Christ was using GIMP to do a bunch of map work a few years ago.
He figured it out pretty quick, but he's also a Mensa-level genius
