i was never an Eldar fan, but theres a scene in Eisenhorn where he meets up with a leader of some faction or other and theres an Eldar at the meeting, the way hes described as just this huge, silent presence that scares the crap out of him made me wish id got more into Eldar

IIRC, that was a meeting between Eisenhorn and  Ravenor, no?

I thought that was in one of the earlier Eisenhorn books. 

I still haven't read Eisenhorn vs. Ravenor though.  I own it, just can't bring myself to read it.  It's like it doesn't happen if I don't open the first page.

I'm pretty sure that was in the 3rd Eisenhorn book, and the Eldar were working in conjuction with Ravenor.

I'd add that, by that point in the series, Ravenor hadn't worn any pants for years.  Ever since the accident...

The beta does not go live until sometime this evening.

If I understand the announcement correctly, the beta will also include the prologue mission to the campaign, as well as OFFLINE skirmishing against the AI (whoooohoooo!!!)

Really looking forward to this!

If the beta shows up bugs (non-Nid variety) to be squashed, I'd rather they wait to July.
