Let's Play - Pocket Space Empire

I know some of you guys were really curious about this recently released early access title, so I just made a really quick overview video. I'm also testing out my new video capture software which is capturing my mic MUCH better than Shadowplay.

I'll be following this up with a more formal preview or AAR style video and an interview with the developer, Chris at Silver Lemur Games.

Of course, let me know if you have any questions or any specific requests for things you would like to see.

I do like the look & concept. Hope they catch the narrative/role-play style just as well. O0

What's your new video capture software and where did you get it? Couldn't use the other one (my system is below the minimum requirement).

Nice. I may have to check that out sometime too.

Especially if it can directly record with H264 encoding and is open source.

Saw that on the feature list. When I used ShadowPlay, I would still have to go convert the whole vid to a new file with H264 encoding in MovieMaker. Just extra time spent. Had stopped recording stuff due to all the extra encoding & upload time to YouTube but this should cut down on that. :)

Next problem: freeing up more HDD space for recording. :))

As for Pocket Space Empire, I'm more stoked after seeing your vid. Somewhat reminds me of the same narrative style of monarchical gameplay in King Of Dragon Pass, but with a better UI and less confusing background. O0

Looking forward to more info.

I can personally attest to the fact that videos captured with OBS upload and process on youtube in about half the time it takes for a video captured with Shadowplay.
